Roseglen Farm - Tina Barker (New Ambassador)

Roseglen Farm, established in 2007, is the oldest German Riding Pony Stud in Australia. Roseglen Farm stands three stallions at Stud, Kennedy WE (imp), Hilkens Nougat Cream (imp) and new kid on the block Roseglen Pop Art (ifs), alongside numerous imported State Premium and Verband Premium mares. In 2008, the imported stallion, Hilkens Nougat Cream (imp) landed in Australia as a 3 year old. He was a multi champion foal in Germany and from the day he arrived, he has been an absolute superstar. He has won in the show ring, the breed ring, the official dressage ring and has produced numerous Elite foals and fabulous ponies under saddle. He is the current Victorian State Elementary Champion and is competing successfully at Medium level dressage with Justine Greer. Kennedy WE (imp) is the old man of the stud. Retired from official competition at the grand age of 20 yo, he has been a multi champion across numerous countries. He successfully competed in Germany, Silver medallist at the Bundeschampionate, Silver Medallist at the prestigious Berlin Stallion show, numerous wins in dressage up to PSG with children riding him. He successfully competed to Inter 1 in Australia, at one stage holding the State and National titles in Advanced, Prix St George and Inter 1. He has sired countless champions across three continents, in dressage, showing and jumping. He has had numerous progeny compete at the European Pony champs in the disciplines of Dressage and Jumping. He has sired numerous licensed stallions and is a well-known producer of State Premium mares in Europe and the USA. Keeping with tradition, he has sire countless Elite foals in Australia. Roseglen Pop Art (ifs) is a 4yo stallion by the famous stallion Powerboy, out of our matriarch imported mare, State Premium Sweet Belladonna K. In Andy’s first year in competition, he was reserve champion 4yo pony at Dressage with the Stars, reserve champion 4yo pony at Brisbane CDI, champion Prelim pony at Brisbane CDI and is about to step back out in the Novice ring. He is a beautiful stallion, standing just on 14h, with a temperament suitable for children. He is expertly trained by Justine Greer in Victoria. My boys are powered by good feed, great training and they get only the best rugs. All three boys have been clothed in Swish rugs from the day they arrived in Australia. They each have full cotton ripstop sets for in the paddock, cotton show sets for dressing up, woollens for the cooler nights and Canvas rugs for those wet days. Due to the shape of my stallions and the fact Swish rugs have a three piece design, I do not have to deal with shoulder rubs, lost manes or sliding rugs due to poor fit. Stallions are notorious for destroying ill-fitting rugs and I can happily say I am still using rugs, purchased 10 years ago from Swish, so good is the fit and the quality.
